Bristol Brigand RH815

 

Crashed at Cameron Highland under Operation Swansong to protect and escort duty school children armored convoy from Cameron Highland to Tapah in 31 July 1950.

Based in Sungai Besi airfield near Kuala Lumpur, the aircraft was doing an airshow for school children when it hit a tree and plunged into the deep valley and burst into flames.

 

3 crews were killed instantly and their remains were recovered and buried at Batu Gajah Cemetery, Perak.
